The MRA has secured a sponsorship deal for the 2017/18 campaign.

THE MIDLANDS Regional Alliance is pleased to announce the Chameleon School of Construction Ltd has agreed to become the league’s title sponsor for the 2017/18 season.

Chameleon School of Construction Ltd is an award-winning training provider with centres in Swadlincote, Burton-on-Trent and Chesterfield offering courses in a variety of construction trades and motor vehicle maintenance as well as operating an Independent Test Centre for CSCS card testing.

The geographical area covered by Chameleon dovetails neatly with the MRA’s own footprint and joining forces will enable both organisations to raise their profile even further.

MRA chairman Mel Williams said: “We are delighted that Chameleon School of Construction Ltd has agreed to become the title sponsor for the MRA for the forthcoming season and would like to thank the company for their support.

"This coming season will be an important one for the MRA as we work towards the ambitious targets we have set for the future of the league.

"Attracting new sponsorship is a key part of that by enabling us to increase the prize money on offer to our member clubs.

"We shall work to ensure this new deal is mutually beneficial”.

Jason Duncan, operations director at Chameleon School of Construction, added: “We are passionate about helping our learners achieve their ambitions and with the league having the same passion towards their members the two organisations are a natural fit.

"We are proud to become the title sponsors for the Chameleon MRA and to support them in their future plans.”

Membership of the MRA is open to teams based within 35 miles of Derby city centre.

The MRA aims to achieve Step Seven status within the next two seasons and is committed to helping member clubs to become FA Charter Standard.
